when I listen to music from the 60s and 70s, I'm often sad to have these great talents not experienced live. When a Sinatra would still occur, I was sitting on the plane tomorrow. so we must unfortunately make do with CD's and old film footage. the sound quality of this CD is really very good - so far I've taken was to hear no crackling or similar in the background. except of course when the two live recordings at the end, the quality but are also very good. because you can really imagine how Sinatra and Martin are on stage together. Sinatra is probably the most conceptual one, including me. the songs on the CD, sung by him are in the usual quality. However, I must say that I am a bit in love with "The First Noel" in his wonderful voice and I also have a bit of tears to my eyes up. The song has a little church mood and this is perhaps a matter of taste. by Sammy Davis jr. I knew beforehand so virtually nothing. a bit of a shame, I find it therefore also that he may sing on the record only three song and I still could not make me right picture. with Dean Martin, I have never before dealt. but if he accented singing in "Rudolph" at the last minute to Santa Claus: just sympathetic at all has his voice and especially his language full of character at times it seems almost as if he had been one or the other glass.. whatever drunk, but that seems more cute than repulsive. overall a nice Christmas CD. to a point deduction's purely taste reasons: it's me then but a little too much like it. from the fifth slow Cuddle song is then it's a bit tough. But then there's that, either the "Rudi" in between so:. Buy worthwhile.
