Arrival at the end of this first volume, I still wonder how I took so long before reading a novel by David Gemmell. This book reads very well and it is immersed in history with pleasure. A beautiful rewriting of mythology. This first volume poses well all the characters and the relationships they have with each other. Manly universe, although transcribed, a marvel to read. For all fans of the films as Alexander, 300 ... (for most recent) one is truly in this atmosphere.
