Very good air purifier does what he should

The air cleaner I bought because of my pollen allergy, which increases from year to year.
After intensive research on the internet I came across the Fellowes air purifier. The device filters out airborne particles up to a size of 0.3 microns - devices a higher power level while also filter particles that are only half as large, but these devices are more expensive and many times!

From the price-performance ratio and the cleaning performance and equipment produced, I am more than satisfied with the Fellowes AP-230 PH. The filter performance for pollen and dust is remarkable. Since device does have a certain size, but is visually very appealing and fits into any room as a corner. The size will certainly be decisive for the cleaning performance and explain why other, smaller units so far failed to convince me. But shortly the details:

- Absolute top is the automatic adjustment of the power level of the device depending on the air quality. The device has four power levels and provides the "Auto" function selbstätig in a higher level when the air quality deteriorates. I tested this feature multiple windows on, pollen coming in and a few moments later the machine increases its fan speed and thus the air flow. The deterioration of air quality is displayed on a display (green / yellow / red). After a few minutes in the "Turbo" level the air quality is better.
- In low / mid-level noise of the device is hardly noticeable. Something loud is the fan in the two high levels - which, however, rarely are used (must), because the device works very effectively. In particular, the Turbo setting caused such a high / fast airflow that you certainly need this only in exceptional cases.
- The display is very clear and indicates not only on the current state of the air, but also on the condition of the filter.
- The air purifier works - unlike other systems - not with water but with a coal and a HEPA filter and is therefore bacteriologically in my view less concern.
- Is optimally arranged the air outlet: air is drawn on both sides and expelled cleaned up again - so the air spreads quickly and is also produced for bystanders / sedentary people no unpleasant "Wind".
- The air cleaning effect is absolutely appropriate for the size of the room. So you can be in determining the "size" of the air cleaner stick to the manufacturer's instructions and does not necessarily buy the larger device. From my research on the subject I know that this is with other equipment thoroughly evaluated differently.

And now the most important thing: the air purifier for the first time allows me in the pollen season a peaceful sleep without trändende, itchy eyes. The cleaning effect was really noticeable. The air in the morning fresh and consumed significantly less than before the air purifier appeared.

Maybe I'll me a second device so that I can breathe freely in the living room ...
