We have several of these candles outside in lanterns in use now in the 2nd year. The luminosity is enormous, and with economical eneloop batteries they shine some nights through in continuous operation. While the remote control is not necessarily from a distance, you have to be right in front of the lantern, but that does not bother us. One could be improved: The distance of the switch under the candle to the floor would have to be higher. The bottom of the candle with the switch comes so directly into contact with water when it rains and it just accumulates in the lantern. Characterized suffers over time, the circuit of the candle. Thus, one should stick from the start as small spacers below the bottom, which may increase the durability. Otherwise, 5 stars for the luminosity, and that you can switch over to "parking light" because that mimic candles flickering is tolerable, although in this embodiment, but need not be.
