The device is exactly as I had imagined. It triggers in me a "old" USB 2.0 or Reader. The read speeds are compared overwhelming (even with the available cards no comparison! Significant speedup!), The device is recognized by Windows 8 immediately without any additional software installation, for each shaft defines a Windows drive (5 in total). After the conversion of the drive name in the Disk Management tool to my needs (drive letter of the external USB2.0 drives were during installation automatically moved backwards) fits all.
You have to know that the device (internal, 19-pin) connector has a USB3.0 what on the motherboard or a (still to be acquired) USB3.0 card a special connection must be present.
The device comes with a black and off-white panel, screws and Quick Start Guide.
Very positive: the very long internal cables (about 50 cm), even for large housing as my Chieftec midi tower.
