I enjoyed the detective novel, for the same reasons that made hate by some of the previous reviewers: the lack of sophistication, style effects, the simplicity of a smooth and well-told story. What makes me say that this novel is excellent is that it creates a real atmosphere, with an understandable story easy to follow and engaging characters, not to mention what we learn in passing on unknown environments ( case on the wood industry). It's the Simenon thriller and it is a true delight among these craziest all thrillers as each other under the pretext of wanting originals. Here the plot is clear and light style. I recommend it unreservedly for a very good read.
