Here are the details:
The "plus" (+):
(+) Reliable in my case, config linux / ubuntu (it should also go well with windows)
(+) Flow high speed USB3 devices appears to be maintained (for the few tets I did with a key "extreme" of around 200 MB / s write and read a little more)
The "minus" (-):
(-) A cable both short (planned), not facing the terrible twist (no doubt but encountered lifetime error), and a twist in my case needed to connect the hub and keeping locations hub up -> I hope it will remain reliable over time, see
(-) Before purchase Included: Neither external power nor possibility to connect an adapter easily, no easy way to know when it will exceed the capacity of the port of the PC and / or hub -> I never brancherais a HDD USB3 powered only by it, it is a blow to lose in reliability and have inconvenience then ...
(-) On a laptop, it's a little big and heavy, suitable especially in "posed" without much movement, but avoid dangling holding the PC
My conclusion:
In the end this is a reasonable hub to connect multiple keys and to avoid touching too often connectors directly on my laptop when it stays on my desk. Especially that some keys are slightly too wide and therefore block the entirety of my two USB3 ports. You'll understand if I had bought a product as a hub usb3 to do everything, I would be less satisfied, but the price paid, with guessed limits and the intended use, it's a great satisfaction.
