Coffee and milk foam result very good, but compromising on the device itself
Although Senseo and variants might affect quality, but produce significantly worse results.
However, you should know before buying what you want:
- For me personally for a cup was still the normal scalding of things by hand or by machine.
- For bar, Mich coffee, macchiato and Co. The machine is optimal.
- Suboptimal for espresso as well as with dual pad and a minimum amount of water to thin - there is nothing about Nespresso ...
First, the negative or neutral points which I consider to be relevant:
- The feel is so-so. The device is made of plastic and not just carved from the solid. When you realize the operation - without, however, things have the same cancel watching. Effective but strong enough.
- Plastic looks rather cheap and is stain and scratch-prone. Point. At the unit metal is installed only at the locations where it was absolutely necessary.
- Large cups / glasses do not fit under it. Slightly more working height would have been nice, especially for the milk frothing. So a small cock for laterally moving would be nice, but not there ...
Plus points that would speak for the device and also get me to buy again:
Variability:
- Pads go, holder for coffee powder is about Nachfülllpads of Melitta one can fill his own favorite strains as a pad.
- Milk foam, hot water, coffee. Funzt easily or practice.
- Amounts may be adjusted continuously. Hot water, coffee and milk froth - and if there should be too much but you push to stop only briefly on the button.
Quality:
- Water is equal to very hot, not lukewarm with a long run-up.
- Coffee is hot, after a few runs and no aftertaste. The built-in water filter is also effective.
- Milk foam works great - if sometimes not, it is up to operating errors or pollute lines / parts / containers or in low-fat milk. Also 1.5% and lukewarm works, 3.5% and cold is better.
Completion rates:
- Anyone looking for a rational use device for coffee or coffee varieties with milk foam, is correct. Hot water and the option without Pad are bonus.
- Anyone looking for digitized functions and programs would be grinding coffee and rags can not handle (and additionally want to splurge etepetete with the device) is incorrect. Buys Jura for ten times, get the same or a worse outcome.
- If you want espresso, is wrong. Nespresso is the right choice here.
