Do not worry: hero or knight - for me he is a hero-knight. The Zelda games are not so continued, but always start from the front; other stories:
Link is a student of an elite school in the small town of "cloud Hort", which is located above the clouds. The people there have no access and no contact with the earth, which they describe in this game as "Erdland". Nevertheless, to remain mobile in the sky, each of them has a bird on which they can ascend.
To check the flying and the way to reward the best with something that takes place on that day, a ceremony in which the winner is to be knighted. In order to continue the game, of course, Link gains forcibly the ceremony and must spend as a reward for a day with Princess Zelda.
Together, the two start a flight tour over the clouds - to a gray whirlwind Princess Zelda grabs and pulls in the Erdland.
Link, we have a problem. Over.
To play the game is a Wii MotionPlus urgently needed. Only so precise movements and actions can be carried out, which proves itself in the end as quite beneficial and increases the game a lot.
Sword blows are eg. Strictly adopted and implemented so really, how also swings the Wii-mote. In this context, the artificial intelligence (AI) has been the opponents also pretty screwed up: There are now enemies, who can not "only" ward but fend also from different directions, ie the gap to attack must always be recorded only and thus the Wii -Mote be swung. However, the defense positions of the opponents are also changing constantly.
Various attributes can include the game and absolutely must be used, are also implemented precisely with the Wii Mote Plus function. A normal swing back and forth the Wii to cut down the sword, so bringing in most cases in the confrontation with opponents nothing. The name "Zelda: Skyward Sword 'has in this game, a similarly significant position: Many sequences and game arcades can be overcome only with the power of heaven, that is, if you hold the Wii Remote for about three seconds to the top (ie into heaven) , "fills" the sword with magical energy. However, this feature can also be used for to capture distant objects or enemies.
All alone getting around on foot requires the Nunchuck - for everything else the Wii Remote is used.
Buying a Wii includes its own agreement, a fact that you do not expect high-end graphics or naturalness. So it is with "Zelda: Skyward Sword" that way. It's not the graphics performance, a PS3 or XBOX 360 has to offer, but this is also no intention of Nintendo. Values are elsewhere placed in the foreground: namely the gameplay. I am sure that with this game, the limit of the power of the Wii has been reached, but it does not bother me. There are really very beautiful landscapes with the one and the other details that represent a total of colorful and mostly impeccable landscapes. In this sense it has Link currently not necessary to look like a real man. Quite apart from that I have also been discovered in the many hours of play, I've spent so far, no bugs, gaming or graphical errors. Everything was wonderful liquid and without blemish.
The music in the game reigns supreme. After a short time you will be automatically canceled and unintentionally in the times of "Zelda: The Wind Waker" and "Zelda: Twilight Princess": Many pieces were imported from these games and used almost in the same places, as well as in the aforementioned games have surfaced. There are a total of two pieces that I did in "Zelda: The Wind Waker" have not so very much, and show up here again. Well; is just my subjective consideration and there are certainly many among us, which is fallen.
Speaking of music: The normal version of the game (without Wii-Mote Plus in Zelda-style) hosts the Orchestra CD with selected pieces of Zelda games for 25 years. I found the music in the Zelda games have always been very good and bought me some soundtracks of the games, to also be able to listen when the consoles of Nintendo should stay out of time and I wanted to relax. A very good, small collection, where you can listen to and from - a gift horse in the mouth so you do not look. ;-)
Conclusion: A very nice, varied and sometimes challenging game, whose control elements as well as the opponents have been used wisely and to prove themselves in practice as well. Absolute buy recommendation on my part - not just for Zelda fans!
