Very good Kamelot Album

Customer Review

I'm a big fan of Kamelot no other band manages bombast so unpretentious in the heavy metal stuck to how the band around mastermind Thomas Youngblood. After the last album Silverthorn the singer change from Roy Khan is about Tommy Karevik succeeded with flying colors, my expectation was to the new album Haven naturally great!

Been really disappointed I am by the new thirteen songs not really, but I also think that Kamelot on Haven perhaps go a little too much on the safe side. Haven has a bad song, but also lacks the number over which previous albums has always crowned. On Silverthorn this was Sacrimony (Angel Of After Live) or even Ghost Opera.

With Fallen Star opens the album one of those typical Kamelot Ohröffner. Insomnia takes the ball on, and affects some very progressive, Kareviks great voice here comes especially to bear!

Of course, again a guest vocalist on the field again. The beautiful ballad Under Grey Skies is refined from Charlotte Wessels, in Liar Liar is Alyssa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) to hear with clean vocals and provides here for a killer chorus!

Well, actually, everything is there, what Kamelot fan wants to hear. Detail Lovers songs, great melodies and bombastic abwinken to, only missing the About song! But perhaps the album is so good because of its compact and unity!

Silverthorn I liked slightly better, which does not change the fact that Kamelot have again delivered a very good album!
