When ransacking at a flea market, I just bagged this CD for the price of one Euro once. Actually I wanted to buy no more Cocker CD. According to the motto: If you have a CD, you have all of Cocker. And I have plenty of CD's of the old boys. At home I put the shekel in the player and was completely surprised. Not Cockers voice that's constantly excellent, but on the great musical realization of good song selection. Billy Preston accompanies some of the pieces so devotedly that one stays away the spittle. As an example I will mention again the song "Bye Bye Blackbird". Wonderful. Also are again very beautiful ballads on this album. Here I hear the song "Heart Full Of Rain" particularly happy. The highlights of the album are mE but after "Can not Find My Way Home" and Bob Dylan's "Dignity". The CD is recorded cleanly. Many great musicians supporting Joe Cocker attended: Billy Preston, Darryl Jones, Randy Newman, Jim Keltner, Chris Stainton and much more I have to purchase, despite my initial skepticism, no regrets. The album is certainly not a must-have in my music collection, but it is there to find its place and does not collect dust.
