When I bought the light I had not decided yet if I'll use it on the road bike or mountain bike on. The light output would for off-road driving suffice, but the cone of light this lamp is relatively small. I use the light now on the road wheel. There is perfect.

At the mountain I can not recommend it. For this, the Philips LED bike light Safe Ride 80 is my absolute favorite. It is once again significantly lighter and provides an almost 2x as big cone of light. However, it costs about 20 more.
