This is my fifth pair of ear monitors in 15 years: Shure, Weston, Q-jay, Etymotic, Yamaha. It's not the most expensive, but musically it is that I find far more balanced: brilliant highs (finally!) And deep bass, all very well defined. I wear my ear monitor in general for 5 hours straight, on stage (baluche), so comfort is very important. Because of their relatively large diameter, or we put a little piece and it is not insulator, or you put a tip a little bigger and it creates a sizable pressure on the ear canal. We feel that the hard part crushes the rubber on the wall of the ear canal. So I can not move them too often in the evening or they end up hurt.
