I bought this SSD for my newly built home server, because it is relatively cheap and according to the manufacturer a good performance will bring. I have the SSD purchased from another dealer than Amazon at 91 incl. Shipping, in my opinion very reasonable for an SSD with 256GB. The installation of Windows 8.1 worked perfectly and now my server is running pretty fast. The boot time, I have not measured, but it is much faster than the OCZ Vertex 2 60GB with who has previously gewerkelt the server. I also have a few other SSDs (Samsung 840 Pro, Samsung 830), but in everyday driving it shows hardly any difference, because the performance differences are marginal.
