The iPad mount in this envelope I eyeing certainly skeptical, however, my fears have not been confirmed. Once clipped it holds firmly and securely the device. The line-up also works well and ensures a stable footing in all lean angles. Contrary to some reviews here otherwise, the iPad 3 reported on closing the lid off a soft click when you open and was immediately ready for use again without even having to press a button. So the AutoWake function works when activated in the settings, impeccable. All in all, a smart, stable and highly recommended envelope.
