I appreciated the security implemented to avoid any RAID level change that would destroy data.
I was able to test the availability of RAID 5 by removing a disk, volume 1,5TB is always available as well as during the reconstruction after the disc delivered.
This reconstruction is long, several hours but the data is always available so no problem. You just cross your fingers not to lose a 2nd drive during this period the risk of losing everything. We would have appreciated a software to know the% of reconstruction.
Recessed write performance compared to internal drives.
This is therefore a very good system to make storage as images.
