Even after excessive use (frequent transport in a backpack, several beach vacations, ...) I could not detect any signs of wear or even serious defects to the very end. The rubber bands both for fixation of the device and to close the lid were still healing, the material still presentable. No flaking, no cracks, no discoloration.
What I had at the integrated wrist strap, only became really aware of me, as I had to do without them when switching to the Kindle Voyage and associated disruption of initial purchase another shell. It's very convenient to be able to keep the reader in one hand, without having to actually hold it with your fingers!
The protective effect of the envelope I think this is good to very good. The material is relatively soft and thick, so that even the occasional fall of sofa, table, or could the Kindle harm from his pocket. This is also perhaps the only negative I could possibly write the cover: it contributes to relatively strong, so the Kindle but acts much thicker than it does it without the cover. Here it is then just weigh between protection Fink tion and size. Ultimately, however, this has shown no impairment for me.
I have now passed the Kindle along with this envelope in the family, and even there it is not yet apparently satisfied with the product. At least no other case has been previously purchased.
