This is my personal favorite album of Dead Can Dance. The instrumentation includes already a small orchestra with classical instruments such as cello, violin, trumpet, horn. And the music runs continuously from like a soundtrack. During the first minute a huge mountain built up in the mind's eye with snowy peaks looming in the evening light and deep inside hidden secrets, which traces an adventurer and ends tragically; Music for immersion in foreign, mystical worlds, with a fantastic sound volume, perfect to roam after reading the "Lord of the Rings" in the spirit of a little through the mountains of Middle-earth.
