Very quiet and will barely warm

Really amazing, barely audible and, despite continuous copying not really warm.
Even the typical HDD hum is not heard. Absolutely Living compatible.
Was already reported, but I could not believe it.

The only catch, it's only USB 2.0. If you want to use the drive as a NAS, for example, at a Fritz box, it should be remembered,
that data transmission / second is only about 3 MB. Copying a media collection on the Samsung can take several days.
Whether there are problems when streaming HD video I have to try.

Conclusion: Quiet but slowly. As a recording medium to eg corresponding TVs but a good choice. As a backup medium, it would be too slow.

Another note:
Other, longer USB cable can, but do not work.
