Our daughter got the placemat in early January to their 1st birthday, and after a few days the first damage to the rear was observed. Since the back of placemats is the unprotected back of the colorful pressure, any damage leads here necessarily in damage to the image. We now have several places where the placemat is translucent. Other placemats are much more robust here.
