Robert Palmer in his younger, wilder years. "Clues" brings eight fresh titles, of which especially the two singles "Looking for Clues" (a mad dance number) and "Johnny and Mary" protrude (probably knows almost everyone from the Renault-advertising "). But also offer the other songs sophisticated wave pop of the early 80s. The only weak point. With only eight titles, the album has been very short. Therefore a star deduction.
