Many automatically connect the name "Nino de Angelo" with its largest (Schlager) Hit "East of Eden". This CD is however not "hit" in the classified section, because it has many elements of German rock and pop music. Like his albums "De Angelo" (1990) and "Cursed Times" (1993) This album appears under the synonym "de Angelo" (without "Nino"). Musically they have some Ähnlichekeiten because the music just "rock" is - and this is the "right" Nino de Angelo. As for composition and text, de Angelo has also worked here for most titles, making the identification de Angelos with the titles is just right. Whoever hears this CD, it will feel :-) Only the last song "In the arm of an angel" is a cover version (Sarah McLachlan), otherwise great new productions!
Conclusion: Very well-produced German-pop / rock album with perfect arrangements of (E-) guitars, etc.! (Perhaps the best album of Nino de Angelo at all ...) I highly recommend this CD highly enough! Makings Of A Hit! So things are looking up, Nino :-) (now fehlenen only music videos on MTV or VIVA, but who cares ...)
A must for any fan of good German pop / rock music!
PS: If you like music from "Silvermoon City" and "July", will certainly love this CD :-)
