On average, even at the best time only 80-100 players worldwide (!) Online and in the Server Browser is usually only 1 servers to find, with luck sometimes a little more. This is rather unfortunate, because there are hardly people who really 10 minutes or wait longer until finally enough players available to start a game and on top of that is annoying that you also can start only if players are really enough there. If you find a server with 12 slots, for example, it must be completely full and all players need to be ready. That's the next obstacle, many seem simply so overwhelmed at the bottom of 'Ready' to click and I had indeed found a full server, but the half was not ready and so the round did not start well. Here is the same obvious importance of the marketing for a PC game, because Stellar Impact seems to really know hardly anyone.
It would of course be quite advantageous to install a single player or a campaign, but none, it is only the multiplayer available. Games against AI (Artificial Intelligence) is available from Stellar Impact is not, the only way is to play the tutorial mission. The briefing with superimposed text on the edge seems a bit "old-fashioned". After all, the whole thing is done in German, so that one knows by how the starship is controlled and which missions should be carried out. Unfortunately, I was but since kicked after a short time and landed back in the menu.
So you have to play against real opponents, what beginners to get more difficult because this is obviously a very manageable tight unit of like online.
Graphically Stellar Impact is not a highlight, happening on the screen next to nothing, there is hardly any effects and background music, and there still is based on the already outdated Unity engine and should be better hide behind the competition.
The developers should really think about whether they did not publish again Stellar Impact as Free2Play title, so the game does not completely disappear from the scene.
