Serge Halimi, columnist at Le Monde diplomatique is well known for writing editorials against the current on the news. Nothing to do with the other newspaper columnists such Joffrin, Barbier etc ... all experts and advocates of the dominant thought. This time, Halimi attacks the world of journalism and the collusion between them and policy. We realize then that some journalists or self-proclaimed intellectuals (BHL Giesbert, Duhamel, Ockrent, July ...) spend their time to invite them to talk about their bad books often start as flat stomach permanently before the interests of certain parties or industrial. This is the same principle of the independence of journalism that has disappeared in the media mainstream. Indeed today how not to rebel against hoarding by bankers or industrial media of our country (eg TF1 belongs to Bouygues, the President of France Television is appointed by the President of the Republic, belongs to Liberation Rothschild, Lagardère bought Le Monde, Le Figaro owned by Dassault etc ...) which is independence !! Pierre Bourdieu had already analyzed this phenomenon in his essay "On Television". Indeed for him in JT speaking mostly of non-events that genuine issues of substance. A very interesting book on the subject is the book of Emmanuel Ratier "In the heart of power" which shows us that some journalists supposedly independent (Pujadas, Arlette Chabot, Alain Duhamel, Giesbert FO ...) are part of the influential club "The Century" and dine once a month in the company of politicians, media and financial and organize usernames debates on TV. Not counting am-called opposition newspapers like Charlie Hebdo who are ready to stir up all the hatred to sell some more.
