We do have more fun!

Here at last !! I was waiting for this record for months !!
If we enter the thick of it, influences would rather go home ... at that type anyway?
Yeah, at first we could quote Jeff Buckley, Radiohead or Nirvana but now it is less easy. Indeed Matthew slender and his band (which we neglect the role too: the huge Chris Wolstenholme at the bass guitar and the mighty mighty Dominic Howard at the drums) cut the cord and we have made ... the Muse! ! Yes, the Muse simply !!
The album is coherent and different, pure rock Stockholm Syndrome or TSP to mock waltz Blackout to the use of increasingly frequent loops, lounge and electro rhythms atmospheres (Endlessly), the evolution is obvious without being confusing. Now it takes with ropes, of omni-present hearts, soft power (Apocalypse Please) and grand.
The regulars of the house will find their marks without difficulty, the new kids that are sure to arrive may have trouble early with blackout or Endlessly, but outside of these it will be sheer bliss !!
Special mention in Time is running out is tubesque but especially Butterflies and hurricanes that shows 5'01 Muse under his sweet faces and thundering big guitars, soaring lyrical piano and I stop there because this song would describe repeating all I have already said on the whole disk.
For the first time Chris and Dom are credited (with Matt obviously) as composers, something that was sorely lacking on previous albums and that made their work as creators was ignored, justice done to them !! Matt is of course the talented author of all the lyrics.
The DVD that is included is a short documentary about the genesis of Absolution personal cameras, capture studio, some interviews, working sessions are planned in this short film of about 35 minutes achieved by the excellent Tom Kirk who had already signed the double bonus documentary DVD "Hullabaloo". The way of filming is similar to amateur videos, except that here it is stylish: the angles are selected and some picture effects give a result both soothing and invigorating; very interesting.
To those who do not have it I recommend of course! To those who I have already recommended to the board !!
