It is probably with the available extensions still a corner interesting (assumption on my part), but there is this only in English language edition, they are usually expensive, I have not the same to be ordered.
Am of the opinion that it should be enough to play the basic game to get an idea.
Anyway, the game components are very nice, the board and the cards have nice artwork.
The instructions are short and simple, so you can get started quickly, as befits a good family game.
We played it for two.
What bothered us and why it gets 3 stars:
Each train resembled more or less the next.
Fly there and dams one the plague.
Drawing single pair Event cards and stand upright on it.
Possibly build a research center and explore remedies.
It never really came on wit and charm.
For discussions it also did not come, since in principle it was clear what to do.
Second to none, we felt the pressure of an impending epidemic which could wipe out humanity.
Personally, I was much too serious and sterile.
Furthermore, this feeling of solidarity was missing which should come up just in cooperative games completely.
The moves were alike and it was far too little variety available.
Maybe that's with 3 or 4 players differently and perhaps the extensions control more complexity and depth of play with, but as the game is designed for 2-4 players, and here only the basic game is rated, we should also make us worry.
There is a danger of an experienced Alpha player's commands and the game rips itself is very large but have probably the most cooperative games with this burden fight.
Conclusion:
Considering that pandemic is so highly acclaimed game, we were much too sterile, "realistic", predictable and boring and not least what the game mechanics terms rather uncreative and shallow designed.
We expected more.
