There are 4 "standard mode": Single, Continuous (makes as long photos with maximum speed of the camera as the shutter button is pressed), Bulb (exposed as long a recording while the shutter button is pressed) and interval (making X [max. 99] with the shooting distance of Y seconds). Plus, there's the recording program mode. So you can create a specific program, which is then reeled automatically (to infinity shots at a distance of X seconds and with a defined exposure time in hours / minutes / seconds after an initial shutter lag).
(Especially) Positive:
In bulb mode is enough press once for the start of long-term exposure, then you can release the shutter button and press it again at the end of the recording to stop the exposure. That's fine, I have two other radio trigger that one behaves the same, the other must be kept pressed all the time and when the radio link breaks off in between, the recording went. Here it is different and therefore very positive.
The reason my other Funkauslöser with the desired behavior in the bulb mode to replace was that since the battery was saved at the transmitter with a tiny screw, power hungry is no end and he needed to exotic batteries. Here 2 AAA batteries for the transmitter and one CR2 battery (all included) for the receiver used, the battery cover must be replaced without tools or fear of loss of small parts during shootings "on the Road" well. After factory specifications keep the AAA batteries for the transmitter 4 years (!) In standby mode and a CR2 battery 400 hours active time at the receiver. I've no reason to doubt the information.
Practically nothing to be desired recording program mode, even if the operation is a bit strange. At first I thought it works only in bulb mode of the camera (because the instruction makes precisely in this mode, no details of how the camera is to be set, and he has only triggered only mode) and then the smallest exposure time you can set 1 second. You can adjust the exposure time in hours, minutes and seconds. Who please exposes an image for several hours? And why can not I go under a second? Great, I thought, then go during the day only shots with ND filter, which is indeed sometimes disadvantageous. But actually you can set a shorter exposure time on the camera. Then one chooses the trigger 0 seconds, exposure time of the camera is used and you can also take pictures of eg 1/50 seconds. The establishment of this mode is a bit complicated, because shutter lag, exposure time, interval distance and number of shots (actually here to infinity) succession must enter. If you have created a program so times, makes the part but virtually everything one wants from him.
Up to this point perfect score.
The details with weaknesses
Maybe not relevant for everyone but me bothers it because the weaknesses are unnecessary. The lack of German instruction was for me now not a problem, but is actually ugly, one or the other, it is more difficult than necessary to understand the product and use.
It may be "only" a maximum of 99 interval shooting mode with the corresponding set. The mentioned "infinite" number of shots is only in the host program mode. 99 shots are most certainly perfectly adequate, but what does one series of images at intervals with many shots? Yep, for time-lapse movies. But if you want to record pictures, which is converted into films at 25 frames per second, then comes with 99 shots in the end just a 4-second spot out. Therefore unnecessary, because yes endless shots are possible in principle, but it is mentioned in the program recording mode, which is set laborious.
The third little annoying detail is (as mentioned by other reviewers) that the sender necessarily go into standby mode after a minute. This can not be prevented. While the selected program still exists, but the transmitter starts necessarily in single screen mode, so you always need only times to adjust the trigger mode after the "wake up".
Otherwise, I can do that part but fully recommend.
