Inspire The homogeneity of the recording, the compositional finesse the contemplative pieces and the presented piano. Bill Evans weightless-floating, finely colored, inward piano playing is unique and gives this recording something dreamlike magic with a slightly melancholic mood. The last three (Bonus -) - breaking pieces unfortunately the calm mood somewhat - they could have been better omitted.
The sound of the recording (be playing late seventies) is good, with a pretty straightforward recorded, polynuclear piano, an airy-dancing drums and singing bass.
