All 6's and 7's (Audio CD)

Customer Review

It has become an annual ritual that Aaron Yates aka Tech N9ne published at least one plate - included the Collabos-Werke. After "KOD" at least sold in the US like hot cakes and Tech's fans in general have high standards, the bar has been set for his latest work "All 6's And 7's" of course, very high up. Ahead was a lot of talk about the album, in particular the planned guest list with people like Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Eminem or Snoop Dogg had seen in quite a few for some displeasure, however, only part of the idea was put into action in the end. How this works and whether Kansas City's favorite son has added another jewel to his high-profile Discography, we are now seeing.

Proud 24 titles we count on the tracklist, which of course are some skits with this again. A pity also that pre-order, Best Buy, and the iTunes-editions of "All 6's And 7's" total 7 bonus tracks is donated were, in their enjoyment we do not come here. So be it. The first song "Technicians", a kind of homage to his followers that he presented to the world. The battle cry, which was taken from the movie "300", was already previously used, fits here as well as chalk and cheese, in combination with Tech N9ne's destructive flow and the thundering beat is a true anthem at the end of it, the also Krizz Kaliko with its parts in the chorus can make his mark. These firecrackers at the beginning followed by "Am IA Psycho?" the next highlight. Bob, who's otherwise rather belongs to the soft category, produced the play and is still the same as a feature here, in addition is still Hopsin at the start. It quickly becomes clear that the title of the song is really only a rhetorical question with wacky verse is answered three. Sound-wise a bit gloomy, but again with an incredible force, which you simply can not escape. After this glimpse into Tech's affairs we get with the single "He's A Mental Giant" equal yet matching supply. For this look myself at the video that captures perfectly with his wacky visualizing the mood of the song.

Whoever thinks to be able to take a breather, which has unfortunately been unlucky, the with "Worldwide Choppers" the power control is turned all the way. Aggressive guitars adorn a powerful bass, to cheer Tech N9ne and his guests Busta Rhymes, Yelawolf, Twista, D-Loc, Twisted Insane, JL, Ceza and Uso a high-speed line to the next starting. Thanks to the European colleagues Ceza and Uso did not stop this time in the name of "Midwest Choppers", but fit "Worldwide" at such a beast even much better. In stark contrast, has the groovy feel-good number "I Love Music" which at the right time a bit loosens the album. A little surprise we experience with "Strange Land" and is less on song per se, but the producer-team Justice League, which has actually specialize in sunny Florida Hip Hop à la Rick Ross or Ace Hood. The piece for Tech N9ne they designed, however mystical and almost a fairy tale, which our narrator tells of his self-created realm. Since having the guys made manifest so much fun, they set with "The Boogieman" continued the concept and deliver their version of the story about the evil man lurking under the bed. In the middle of "All 6's And 7's" we find a kind of porn-phase, led by the song, before it has probably many grayed, namely "F * ck Food", the collabo with Lil Wayne and T-Pain. Together with his guests lets Tech no opportunity on the preferences when Schäferstündchen to philosophize because you should bring a breath of humor. The really crazy thing about the track: it works. Especially T-Pain is on the back a little darker designed piece that he has more than a rapper on the chest, as a singer.

Unfortunately, the rest of this phase is by far not up to par, but overall quite uninteresting and will be completed by the not particularly brilliant "You Owe Like Pookie" and the discordant nature. "So Lonely" skilfully combines hardness with goosebumps effects, especially the chorus with Tech's aggressive performance along with the song of Mackenzie, the daughter of co-label owner Travis O'Guin. Feature Blind Fury has over Tech N9ne clearly at a disadvantage, which flow is not one hundred percent on a track where it comes to unique position in the Biz, nevertheless we hear a great piece of music. Also very nice to hear the soulful songs towards the end. Starting with "If I Could", dedicated to his family, about the chilling "Love Me Tomorrow", which deals with one's own person, towards "Mama Nem", the - can already recognize as the title - to the mother is directed and should be seen as thanksgiving. All of these titles the human side of Tech N9ne and not the psychoanalysis of the Strange Land. Incidentally shines Krizz Kaliko which the ideas of his boss puts on the crown with his hooks. To conclude, there with freaky sounds a brief overview of the freaky career of Tech N9ne and his complete self-created career, called the "Promise Land" (feat. Nikkiya Brooks).

Despite almost 40 years under his belt to Tech N9ne show with "All 6's And 7's" as fresh and energetic as ever. Even weak pieces have crept in during the long tracklist, but overall predominate once again highlights that will make when it comes to text and sound for enthusiasm in all his fans under warranty and certainly some attract new investors.
