First CD1 who gets the original album remastered. I will not go into the debate "for or against" because although I do not blatantly distinction track with the album now in the cabinet "Oh by the way," my stereo is not impressive enough for me an objective idea.

The one and only interest of this case lies in the CD2 and especially for his first 3 songs recorded live in 1974 whereas the album WISH YOU WERE HERE will come out in 1975. Shine On You Crazy Diamond First: A great version planing even without the intro we know but full (part.1 / part. 9). Then 2 pieces that appear on the album ANIMALS in 1977: Raving And Drooling and You've Got To Be Crazy which are actually the first drafts of Sheep and Dogs ... beautiful and better than on the upcoming album.
Incidentally, I do not know if a box Immersion ANIMALS is expected but, even if their interest is undeniable and their possession necessary for any fan of FLOYD, I do not understand the presence of these two songs on a box WISH YOU WERE devoted to HERE ... Now if the cabinet Immersion ANIMALS never see the day I'd rather have them here than not at all ...
Then come three studio records: Wine Glasses which is neither more nor less than an alternative version of the intro of Shine On You Crazy Diamond ... a little short but interesting. Have A Cigar alternative extended version of 2mn and not sung by Roy Harper as on the album. Finally wish you were here with Stéphane Grappelli on violin: for my part, I like the original version. I find the violin a little "rough" and it gives the piece a little country side that displeases me.

The disc 3 is the audio DVD of the album available in 5 versions: 5.1 surround 448 kbps and 640 kbps, 448 kbps 4.0 quad mix and 640 kbps and LPCM Stereo original mix ... like THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON Immersion, DVD is only useful if you have a home theater to enjoy the 5.1, but so many listen CD1 on his stereo.

The disc 4 is an audio-video and DVD is where the scam begins ". Approx 75 min" is shown on the back cover of the case ... actually, this DVD contains only three videos projected during concerts and a total of 20 minutes duration and in Stereo or 5.1 Surround Sound Version, and a mini movie 6 minutes in stereo version only, sort of audio compilation with images of Storm Thorgerson used as support for the design of visual album ... it is far from 75 mn announced! Besides a times and tidy this record will remain gathering dust in the bottom box.

The 5 disc (which, incidentally, is presented in a separate cardboard sleeve in the box) is a Blu-ray that contains the same footage as the disc 4 with plus album once again available in 3 versions (5.1, 4.0 and stereo). In other words, according to the possessed equipment (DVD or Blu-ray), one of the last 2 discs will be useless ...

Moreover, as for THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, this box contains 2 beautiful books (including the first words and different visual of the album and the second pictures) and objects "collector" (scarf, beads under -Glasses) and Reproductions equally dispensable and unnecessary as ugly and useless.

In conclusion, one can also note that this set includes a CD unless one dedicated to THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON ... and for the same price!
I advise you strongly to acquire the "Experience" version that includes the first two discs, and more than sufficient for a lesser price.
