If you know nothing about the stock market and that the words "Technical Analysis" mean nothing to you: Start with this book, it is perfect to start slowly and almost playful way. Other than that, go your way, the author speaks in this book written in 1987 (already since two cracks!) Techniques presented as revolutionary as it is the basis of already described in the first Technical Analysis half of the 20th century. These descriptions are accurate and remain current but 340 pages just talking moving average (even exponentially), support, resistance, trading range, head and shoulders ... it's just about everything, I repeat it perfect start, if not useless.
