Short Story for sale:
I am Pes-game pioneers and have every part of the home, but since 2008 only the PS3 versions. Since these are quite partial missraten - especially the last two parts in 2013 and 2014 - came to the desire to get back into the "old days" and return to play a pes that the latter's name is worthy. After brief research, I came to the conclusion to give the PS2 versions (since 2008) a chance and was not disappointed.
The game:
In my view, the game for the PS2 version since Pes 6 has not changed great. This may be negative on the one hand, on the other hand, and for me that is the central aspect, you know what you get. I now have every part that is released for the PS2 gepspielt, and have to say that this is NOT the ultimate new development in the Games. The games are based on each play is pretty much the same for both laymen and PES veterans, however, noticed the changes in detail, which I will attach below:
Positives:
- Better Ball assumptions than its predecessors
- Torwärte are noticeably better (both in 1 vs 1 and in long shots, which does not mean that they do not go in, if you subtract time from 25-30 meters - as in the 2014 version for the PS3)
- Graphical improvements (both in the players faces, as well as in the stadiums)
- Movements of the players are more round. This one does not realize at the beginning especially, but in certain situations it can be seen
- Improved AI of the computer (improved, not final optimized)
- Referee decides not quite as questionable as usual
Negatives:
- Kurzpasspiel is again no problem, however, advised many passes, as with its predecessors, clearly too short
- Some movements are and remain the game, for example: submit ball too far, if you are in front of the keeper or to the touchline. Used to be annoying, partly still the case.
- As a bit disturbing I find the small number of songs in the game. While you could import it to the PS3's own songs, one is relatively quickly annoyed with the PS2 version with 8-10 titles because it is whole songs, rather than Menu or Master League background music, as one of the parts 4 is 5 or 6 used
- Old familiar License Problem
Other:
- Different modes exist that guarantee enough challenge for long-lasting fun
- Master League has improved. Reminiscent of days gone by with some, thoughtful innovations
- License problem can be counteracted in the editor mode reasonably, because not a lot of teams, but players are present -> Teams itself create
Summary:
Despite the nearly identical gameplay to its predecessors, I give this game the highest rating, because I wanted to have a game that maintained the good old values and some innovations has it. In addition, already one notices the changes in detail and especially in the graphics, which you should not make comparisons with the PS3. The game provides familiar gameplay and will probably run in the near future neatly on the PS2.
