I think it's not fair an app by making false statements Amazon poorly evaluated.
When installing (except probably Kindle Fire) shows Android's rights before installing:
- Memory: contents of the USB storage modify / delete
- Network Communication: Full Internet access
- Calls: read phone state and ID
- Network Communication: View Network Status
The rights can still criticize, but one should not assume the app "Location Provider" it does not need.
