... Is something special. The spectrum of the pieces on this CD reflects the salvation history of the fall of the birth of Jesus to the episode with the aged Simeon again. 'The Christmas Story' is composed of many languages, epochs and genres, including even dialect decoration from the German-speaking Alpine region. It's worth (with translations in English, German and French) to read the information and texts in the extensive booklet. Each individual piece of it goes Hiller to capture the listener not only with the usual outstanding vocal harmonies, but to create something unique from each of familiar Christmas songs. Not only the pieces with the addition of 'Arranged Paul Hillier' applies to me: you can do it differently, but much better. A wonderful listening experience!
