... When I heard Reinhard Mey yet of old rushing cassettes, the speaker turned to the stop in order to understand some of the texts. Oh, how I loved and sang his songs. "Summer" (my still absolute favorite) "And life is like a rushing river" "All the storm-proof Himmelhunde" "What a gift is a song", etc. "Friendly faces" ran up and down. Came with the CDs and cassettes new albums came mostly forgotten. It was chance and luck that my "Friendly faces" again fell into the hands. Immediately the feeling of that time was back. Granted, I like just about everything by Reinhard Mey. Nevertheless, it is the joy that gives me this album particularly endearing. It was a surprise when I was given the CD Birthday and it does not bother me more if the old cartridge will disappear in the drawer. Unless I want to feel nostalgia again. But who really likes good exchanges, against inferior quality.
