Firstly - and in advance:
The price / performance ratio of this camera is pointed. Which also applies: Those who buy a Nikon P7100 (but weighs twice), puts it just 100 euros and has a camera that takes place in a completely different league. However, with only 7 x zoom (200mm converted into small picture format.) The Lumix TZ25 it brings real to 14.5 (16 advertises Panasonic).
Secondly:
Forget the 150- to 400 euro range, the Bridge "cameras and the small Digis that more megapixels come up with 16-18 or. This is nonsensical in sensors that are still much bigger than a fingernail. The physics can be not outwit.
Among the advantages of Lumix TZ25:
- In bright outdoor environment, the resolution is simply sensational. And noise from ISO 100 to 400 non-issue. At ISO 800 it's for the newspaper print all. However, the intensity of the TZ25 is very good. And so when shooting outdoors rarely takes more than ISO 400. Especially since the Verwacklerschutz is very effective.
- Even at full zoom (miniature equivalent of about 400 mm)
the results in this class very well (minor washouts "around the edges, but insignificant).
- The Full-HD video results are highly impressive. Hats off!
Bad points:
- The user interface is a little rough, fingers slipped almost anywhere very easily.
- In low light (indoors, dawn) (like all cameras in these sensors family) falls FZ25 naturally by design significantly. Tip (where it's done): use a tripod. Night shots with 2 to 5 seconds exposure time at ISO 100/200 are really a stunner - finely drawn and very close to SLR camera quality.
- Charging the battery takes a long time. A battery charger (ie externally) - is not included. Really Naughty: The supplied Panasonic charger cable is only 50 cm short!
Conclusion:
Despite fewer defects in detail: Buy!
