The fifth film and the fifth soundtrack are among the best in the series. The score by Nicholas Hooper, leads us back to the Harry Potter theme that you get finally heard more often, and offers some new old melodies. The theme of the DA is very nice and a little Williams-like, and yet not clones. Umbridge topic is just terrific and could not have done better and more appropriate. From dark and dramatic sounds like "Posession" to the action-packed played with Electric Guitar "Fireworks" of the score has it all. The fights are very nice and accompanied Hooper knew where he uses music and where not (I say only Voldemort vs. Dumbledore).
The score is really great and I would get 5 stars, but I have to evaluate the CD itself, I forgive only four, because the pieces are not in chronological order but are jumbled. At least I recognize as a schema.
Who the old Harry Potter loves melodies and is accustomed to the, will not be disappointed even with many new tunes bie this score. Hooper makes up for what Doyle has not managed. Terrific soundtrack, beautiful CD.
