Difficult to navigate between the different radiation equivalent Kelvin temperatures, sometimes too yellow 2700K, this bulb it supposed to 4000k white without being "too" industrial unlike the 6500K. Personally, I do not find my account (optically) and regrets the old and cheap filament bulbs, I even tend to think that this is all a big scam forcing us to the tube compact ( which contain small amounts of mercury, here an ecological progress ...) or LED; on my electricity bill, I hope no impact on my level. Anyway, getting back to the concrete bulb, the beam is powerful, broadcasts about 180 °, white is already "very white"; you must love. The rear pellet heaters strongly enough, you must know, too, much like the compact tube. The impression in the end is a little mixed. These bulbs are expensive, I think they all have drawbacks either in scattering angle in volume ("big" stuff), color temperature. For recycling, with all plastic and electronics in the back, I ask what one shows me the final ecological balance. Apparently it is progress, I remain skeptical, it is mainly a business for which you have not much choice.
