I bought this switched outlet to complement my new Fritz box 6490 (cable Germany "HomeBox 3"), registered in the Fritz box and everything worked out perfectly. However, this latest Fritz boxes have cable Germany (KD) still sorts "teething troubles" (sporadically functioning WLAN, every night must be booted because they "zuschaufeln" and are slow, etc.), so I quickly get a new box of KD had. Now, when I wanted to connect this outlet here at the new Fritz box, closed the not (although I had signed out properly from the old Fritz box). The attempt of resetting the outlet to the factory settings to no avail. The AVM Support at the KD referred me, told me (by the way very competent) for some common tests that here is probably the error in the socket because it is logged on the first box, and remains now, and does not accept new Box , Obviously, it is possible the only memory (EPROM, EEPROM ...?) Not rewrite the outlet, for. Example, by the factory settings. So I get an RMA number for return.
So far, so bad (here yes, almost all Fritz products failed at once!).
Now the coronation! In the mail with the RMA is information that I have to bear the submission for review / repair / exchange in the framework of statutory guarantee or even manufacturer's warranty and will also equal recalled also indeed an insured delivery service (DHL) to choose -> quite expensive!
