I have the game now intensively on my PS3, which is connected to a 32 "TV, tested on one day. I will update this review from time to time, so that strengths and weaknesses of the game that are not yet known to me until now, can be added.
In this review, I am referring, as a comparison, much at GTA 4. Since I assume that most players GTA got 5 also GTA 4 to face, this gives them the opportunity to innovate and the known from GTA4 things weigh. Of course, the review is also suitable for complete "Grand Theft Auto" newbies;)
Important at the beginning:
I do not write here about the mission content but am referring primarily to the universal, the characters and their environment from GTA. There are two simple reasons:
1. No charge Spoilergefahr.
2. Whether a like mission content or not, varies from player to player. Therefore, it is difficult to consider these in a general review.
The game is known as already in the previous parts, in English, All thing with German subtitles. The menu is entirely in German.
General:
I can do so much to anticipate: whom GTA 4 has been well-liked, will be flashed from GTA 5. I personally did in GTA 4 always bothered that you can not come out of the city.
This is in GTA5 however the case. Not only the mountain scenario, but the underwater world is so rich in detail. Since rock has * really promised too much. This is something I've never seen in a PS3 game before. More on that later.
In the control, not much has changed. Intuitive and simple to carry out, as one already knows from GTA4. Of course, a great innovation that you can choose between three different character back and forth now. In many missions you can even rely on, play with multiple characters simultaneously. This brings a whole new game flow, making the missions again a number of interesting.
1. characters and their special abilities:
There are three characters with which you can play.
- Trevor: With its special ability you are invulnerable for a short time
- Franklin: You can slow down time when you are in a vehicle
- Michael: Here you can slow down time during a shootout
You can improve all its capabilities, including the headings shooting, sneaking, Driving, lung capacity and endurance. The headings are leveled up automatically when you for example a lot of walking, by car or in the water on the way are.
2. Control:
The control is very reminiscent of GTA4. You have to get back little used to the "third person shooter" perspective, however, this goes very quickly. The crosshair is, as already known from GTA4, again served with the right stick and automatically jump towards an opponent. As soon as this is too far away or well protected, it is necessary to independently move the crosshairs. Who cares the sighting, it can however also be switched off.
3. Vehicles and driving dynamics:
For me it was in the previous GTA - always very important parts of what vehicles you can use.
In this GTA you can choose between aircraft, helicopters, jets, motorcycles, boats, bicycles, submarine and cars. Maybe you can drive at a later time with tanks. Especially with the car you can see the effort the developer. Also in this GTA you can reuse both the horn and turn on the high beam. As a new feature you can now be additionally automatically open the top with a convertible and close. Although there is only a small thing, but precisely these details distinguishes the new blockbuster.
The driving dynamics is again really great. The different vehicles are also very different from handling. So you can quite fast around a curve drift drive a sports car /. Then you play this scenario again, only with a family car, you realize directly the world of difference. This was already well implemented in the predecessor, however, is now more realistic. Although one must admit that the vehicles no longer quite so quickly degenerate into a spin, as in the 4th part.
Even now you can see more clearly what automaker wanted to copy the developer of GTA5. Both Audi, Porsche and other well-known German car brands can be found. However, manufacturers have been emblems of course remade "unrecognizable".
4. Wanted System:

Here, however, also a lot has changed. It no longer appears a large search radius, from which one must escape, but every police cars and police helicopters has its own search box that is shown in the corner of the screen on the mini map. If you have suspended a police patrol, you can immerse yourself in an alleyway. No longer find you the cops now, the search is set.
It should also be noted that passers like to pick up the phone and call the police if you "nonsense" organized.
5. Environment:
If you find in the game once a quiet moment, you can just look at the city and the surrounding area to explore. Here you will notice one that the fellows normally carry out their activities. One sees cyclists, newspaper vendors, athletes, etc. Even road accidents and shootings between rival gangs and dealers are shown. This is still very much faithful to detail, as in the 4th in this part. In addition, in this rock * Blockbuster has been improved so that the walking speed has been slowed dramatically. This has the advantage that you do not run when committing property or transactions before each item. War in the predecessor, as I found very annoying. If you're in a hurry, you can of course go and sprint again quickly.
A major innovation is that the game map now from the beginning is completely open. However, investing their little time because the card is visible everywhere until you were at the respective location must. Seek out best on a plane and flying over the map, this is the fastest.
Even animals have become important in this part. So you, if you play as a Franklin, a dog at his side, which you have to lead a walk, otherwise you have after a period unsightly legacies on the terrace) The dog named Chop you can also take in its vehicles. Earn or spend money 6:
As is known from its predecessors, it the money earned by completed missions. However, do not expect too much profit. As in real life, however, you should take some time, when investing in shares.
To the more or less "deserving" to get rid of money again, you have more options than ever before in GTA 5. You can back into clothes, weapons and hairstyles of the characters invest, but also tune your car look with nice parts. Very interesting is that you can invest in real estate again. This throw at certain intervals from profits and thus increase again euern balance.
7. Damage:
As you know it from the previous parts already, the game in many ways is assessed very realistic. Even in this current GTA was again taken to ensure that, for example, the damage to vehicles comes across authentically. Since there are dents, scratches, damage to the engine and, if you really daring enough, explosions. My feeling is that it's just a lot in this part of GTA that vehicle to get to explode. This makes things much more difficult and is sometimes tearing the hair.

8. Change character:
A complete novelty is the switching between the three main characters. What should I great to say ?!
Rain, sun, shade, water, dust, garbage, etc. was considered everything back.
But, what has improved worlds, is the animation of the water and the underwater world. The dive trip now makes even more fun. Schools of fish and sharks can now be observed. But beware of the sharks you should stay away;)
The producers of GTA have apparently taken the criticism to heart from GTA 4. At last you can again go out of the city and in the mountain scenery driving up to mischief.
One should not expect the graphics, as you know from the trailers and screenshots from her yet. Perhaps this is possible later on the PS4 ?! :)
In GTA4 came back often to smaller "Lags" (jerking in the game). This is in this GTA no longer the case and has not yet made its appearance with me. Also, I have yet to find any serious bugs. Only the textures around sometimes need few seconds to appear.
10. loading screen:
In many games, you have to first wait a loading screen in each room, one enters. This is not the case in 5 GTA. Only when you open the menus you have to wait a bit.
11. Sound / radio stations:
When the radio is really something for everyone. From hip hop to jazz, from rock to reggae. Very entertaining are again the radio hosts. These again make jokes about everything and everyone, but in English and without subtitles.
When the sound effects has, as opposed to GTA4, not much changed.
12. Multiplayer:

The multiplayer mode is now online since early October ... or rather offline ?!
Unfortunately, I so far not been able to play a full round in multiplayer. It takes a long time until we joined a game session. Because most of it comes when loading an error and you must try again. Supposedly in the next few days some updates, so that the error (hopefully) be resolved for the most part.
If we let these times "starting problems" aside, is the multiplayer, at least what I've seen so far, really well done.
A new feature is that you can make a very individual character before the first game starts.

The multiplayer mode now works correctly and makes animal fun. Unlike GTA4 has now much more modes to choose from. One can together or against each other play with other players. One has to go the way race to play missions, other opponent zufordern out etc. There are dozens of different modes that you can play.
The complete GTA 5 Single Player is directly available. If you do not feel like a mission, you can on the Map drive to mischief and fight against other players, for example.
If you would really like times have peace and quiet, you have the chance a "defensive operation" switch. As a result, the enemy is no longer a shoot on the free map. However, no weapons Man himself has in the eingeschaltetetn function. Can I find a good solution, because it can be really annoying after a time when you will always be shot down, although only the map you want to explore a bit.
The multiplayer is once again a great and very entertaining pastime if you have played through the single player mode.
The only drawback is that it is very troublesome, silence all opposing players, so you no longer hear the "chatter".
13 drawback / suggestions:
As also reported already before by many Internet platforms, it comes every now and then to a sharp edge flares. However, falls, for me personally, this fibrillation after a few minutes to play no longer on.
Summary:
Those looking for a highly detailed and realistic game is right here. Especially players who do not want to play continuously missions and prefer to explore the environment itself will get their money.
While there are some small things in the technology that could be possibly improved, but since you can just do not expect miracles, at a console generation that is on the market for 7 years.
My conclusion is: Who did you GTA 4, will be clearly satisfied with GTA 5.

Now, after three weeks playing experience, there is a small update.
I am still very satisfied with the game. However, I also found little things that do not please me.
Once you have a abgschlossen missions, you get a medal (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for his skills. Ansich a good idea, but we learn only after end of the mission in a "witness" what you would have to create in order to earn a gold medal all. And that's not all. Even with the given sub-points that can be on the "testimony" only guess what you have to do in the mission so as to reach 100% and gold.
Instead of beginning a mission brief overview to show with the required targets, it makes rock * players unnecessarily complicated.
Another negative aspect is that the characters change their clothes themselves. I had Franklin and Michael missed a new outfit. After playing for some time with Trivor and have changed back to Franklin, he had a completely different outfit. While this is close to reality, but it does then, in my opinion, does not make sense to identify an outfit together. The hairstyles, beards and tattoo's are permanent even after a change of character.
Yet I must confess that these "disadvantages" are just little things and by no means are the games fun way.
