I have the power now for almost a week. So far I have recorded television programs either with my VHS recorder or with my PC. The VHS recorder I put precaution first aside. Meanwhile, I have but these away to my nephew. Anyone who has recorded with the Panasonic, knows God needs no more VHS device. Assuming the antenna cable provides a clear picture, the recording quality in the so-called SP mode (hereby fit about 35 hours on the hard drive and 120 minutes on a DVD) far superior to that of a VHS recorder. What has me but even more convinced is the ease of use in post-production of the recording. Advertising rausschneiden, divide movie into chapters, add a title, etc. All this is done quickly and easily. Ingenious is also the high-speed mode when dubbing from HDD to DVD-R / RW or DVD-RAM, this takes a full DVD just about 3 minutes and the finalization of DVD-R then again for about 2 min. I use the device primarily for recording television series and thanks to the built-in HDD can first take some consequences, and only then, when you actually get a full DVD copy to a DVD. Who wants to set a DVD recorder, should rather save definitely a bit longer and then rely on a device with an integrated hard drive. The de- gree of flexibility, which is obtained by the longer recording time with good quality is worth paying extra. I regret the purchase in any way and would buy this device at any time.
