Very good VHS recorder

The device I am currently very happy. However, it noted that it is an instrument of the latter generations are (much plastic) - the stop and play button act not very high quality of the service. There is also no automatic head cleaning like my two old Philips equipment.

But that's it with the criticisms - the actual playback quality is very good. The unit automatically adjusts the tracking optimal one after the tape is played back to 1x.

For one thing you have to be careful, however: If you connect an audio cable also connects to the DVD recorder, it is an unpleasant echo effect - you should only use the SCART cable. I thought so you could achieve even better audio playback, the function is only suitable for a stereo. In my old PHILIPS records also this was not a problem, ev. Recognizes the SONY this is not, or it does not switch off the audio channel from the SCART cable.

The menu is good, the remote control is ok - all the best. Rewind times are also excellent, I hope he's doing well for a long time =).

I can highly recommend if more units should be available.
