Around half of the 10 tracks are original compositions by Yana Bibb, Father Eric provides some works employees on guitar and songwriting and occurs as a producer in appearance. No support is provided in terms of vocal participation.
The compositions are sparingly presented in the classic jazz-cast piano, bass, drums, this supplement partly fragile and fragile voice of a musician very well. In the overall analysis Yana Bibb is the (vocal) Jazz much closer than your father and the harmonies are the Jazz simply somewhat more complex than in the genre Blues and Soul.
This fact also that the appeal of the album reveals itself only after the second, better third interception leads. Very successful, however, is the parallel in the Vita to your father, the musician spent her youth in Scandinavia and also these influences can be heard on the disc. Spontaneously I think while listening to influences of Kristin Asbjörnsen or Caecilie Norby.
The line notes provide the listener with the relevant information, some very evocative portraits of the musician also. A thoroughly enjoyable debut of the young singer.
