Sporty, athletic mid-thirties, deadweight Fan (pushups, dips, squats, pull-ups ...). Gym terminated (expensive dead weight exercises also home feasible phases A for 4 weeks 3 times a week in the studio, then phases each of 4 weeks, no desire ...). Weight exercises do not increase the resistance, you can create a maximum of more reps -> muscular endurance. No possibility of increase in power beyond a certain point.
Material at home:
Barbell 35kg (too little for some exercises), dumbbells á 7kg (too little for many exercises), exercise ball, Indo Board for balance exercises (such as squats, push-ups - I had used in the gym). Worked more with 14kg-20kg dumbbells in the gym (for complicating the weight exercises such as squats, shoulder presses with squats, curls, rowing, ...).
Problems:
Motivation fluctuations for daily training (incl. Running training / other sports). Training of muscle groups that are not / difficult to achieve with weight (eg rotators - in the studio with control cable possible) at home under certain conditions with small dumbbells possible.
Solution:
Recently EA Sports Active 2 gained to increase motivation (otherwise tend to always do the exercises that suit me and so unilaterally to train). Insufficient Flexband enclosed with loops. So Theraband silver (lateral raises, triceps, ...) and Theraband Gold (Curls, ...) ordered. Now I have therefore the possibility of free weights depending on the shape and exercises between and tapes and still change the level of difficulty and therefore quite at home carry out every conceivable exercise with the proper resistance. And not only at home but also go (big advantage over free weights).
Product:
The exercise belts are perfect in quality. Here I recommend, actually use only brands (Material should be harmless to health, should not be made to last and quickly brittle or lose traction). I'm very satisfied with the bands in the first moment, and this can only recommend. However, this must of course still an endurance test stand. Will update it.
Especially Theraband Silver:
For certain exercises the golden ribbon in my eyes is too heavy for people of my starting position (see above) to perform the exercises correctly. So for lateral raises (shoulder), I recommend rather the silver ribbon, if it is not just dealing with bodybuilders who still can run slowly and clean the exercise without bending his back.
Additional recommendation: If you do not know what to do at home for (mostly Eigengewichts-) exercises, which can on books by Wend Uwe Boeckh-Behrens recourse ("maxxF" for about 10 euros, "Fitnesskrattraining" for about 15 euros). I find recommended ...
