WLAN improvement, loading volume sham?

This recession I will definitely work yet! For the actual main function, namely, the "Wash" I can not say anything yet.

Regarding 12Kg Capacity: This is the only "half the truth"!
12kg are only in the program "Cotton" possible or recommended.
In all other programs, the load is a maximum of 6kg or even less!

- Cotton: 12Kg
- Easy care: 6lbs
- Jeans: 3kg
- Machine wash: 2,5Kg
- Outdoor: 2lbs
- Wool: 2lbs

Quite violently I find the line under the loading levels. I quote one line exactly as it is in the manual:

... "For linens and bedding, the recommended load is not more than 2.5 kg" ...

I BEG YOUR PARDON? I think the load is 12Kg! 2.5kg sounds like a bad joke ... Do I have to wash every single respect?

Now for the WLAN:
I am quasi "ITler" and can IT hardware / router etc. without manual configuring with closed eyes. The configuration of the wireless network in the washing machine is not to create completely different and without manual.
In addition to manual also a smartphone with the appropriate app from the AppStore is (for Android and iOS available) absolutely necessary. Since the washing machine just a "LED" display has (no LCD!), It can also show no complex menus and settings. This is all about the app.
In principle, not bad. Who needs a display in the washing machine, if a smartphone or tablet to take on this task.

The contingent of this procedure, however, is: How long will Samsung make and update this app available?
My last machine in this price range I have resold still needed fully functional after 10 years service life, since she was too small for me of the load (young in the family).
Good machinery like to keep 15 or more years.

Who knows already what Android or iOS makes in 10 years? What if Samsung is no longer offering the app? Then the WiFi function is of course no longer usable. I would have expected that you can see the machine connect to a wireless network at least without app and then via a web interface (browser), whether it is finished or not. This could then be integrated into existing home automation. But with a propritären app that is not possible.

If you have managed to set up the wireless network, you have to select each time the machine when you start the app, otherwise there is no notification when the program terminates. So you have to launch the app on every single laundering and select the machine, if you want to be informed! Most households will probably have only one machine. The application should select the final machine will automatically and not nervous at every start. "Smart" is something else!

However, so you can actually control via the app, the washing machine, you have every time the machine, press the "Smart Control" button on the machine. Otherwise you see in the app only the current status but can control anything, change, stop, or the like. I can live yet, because I wanted to have the WLAN mainly check the status. Our washing machine is in the basement and we live on the 2nd floor. We ran in the last 10 years with the old machine often in the basement and the machine has a further 10 minutes remaining time display. Not enough to get back to running high and too long to wait in the basement. As it is very convenient when signaled by the machine as soon as it is ready.

If you switch off the machine when you are done. reports the same application a "connection error" with sound, vibration and notification. What is this please? Every time you turn off a machine after work is done, a message comes? Toll. The thing is not to annoy, it should only be notified when it's ready and still allow the addition of any control over the application.

The large porthole acts compared to my old AEG very inferior. It is very easy and a lot of plastic. This can be very well seen from the Amazon images with porthole open. The inside is simple plastic. How long that holds well?
The porthole can be opened with an integrated lever in chrome frame. My old AEG had an electronic opener. Whether this is better or worse, everyone must decide for themselves. However, the lever makes me not particularly high-quality impression.
The rest of the machine a quality image and is overall very difficult. This is advantageous, so they do not go for a walk during washing / spinning)

Can wash other machines also, 6Kg Capacity for delicate fabrics create others as well.

If the washing result is good, expected to last 3 stars. Others can also wash, and that too much cheaper!

Now the machine is almost 2 months in use. Enough to complete the Rezesion.

In short, they washed;) What a miracle. A washing machine can wash.
Striking against my previous "premium" washing machine AEG Lavamat eco 88840 update is that most washing programs significantly shorter (duration) are.
Practical! Because so you can even larger amounts laundry in one day. Wash programs have required at the AEG over two hours, are done here for about an hour, or about half the time.

The machine spun at 1400 revolutions. According to other recessions, the Spin efficiency should be comparable to fast hurling machine, because the drum is considerably larger and thus the centrifugal force will be greater. In theory correct. Practically, however, the washing is not as dry as my old AEG 1800 (very rare!) Turns and a lot of smaller drum. With a load of "12Kg" one should also remember that the huge amount of laundry usually does not fit at once into the dryer, however. But this may not the washing machine.

As with other Rezesionen to Samsung washers addressed / criticized, I find the softener compartment also a bit small. In particular, if you want next softener other additives (eg hygienic rinses) to give. The powder compartment is sufficient thanks to the foam active technology good.

I miss a drum lighting. An LED for pennies would Samsung can spendieren a machine with Wi-Fi in this price range already.

The machine is not bad! However, there are far more favorable and good machinery, depending on the kind of laundry have the same capacity.
