WMF Premium Topfset at unbeatable price ... from my point of view absolutely convincing

Direct to the start: The Cookware holds in every respect what it promises. I've struggled before buying more by opting for the ultimately correct cookware set, which is why I would like to represent my thoughts and experiences before / after purchase. Maybe it helps one or the other in one's own choice.

GRDS. I decided for WMF, because in the published tests to pots (although he has a few years under their belt, see. Eg. Stiftung Warentest 2009) or pans (see. Stiftung Warentest 2011) WMF products always have qualitatively better cut than the known competitor (although this partly. considerably more expensive products sent into the ring).

This promise of quality is not always to ask in my opinion in question. Although WMF saw apparently so by 2010 forced by cost pressures to shift the cheaper product lines abroad (China) and is now faced with the associated business risks (as in the textbook: Tougher quality control, quality and loss of reputation, etc.). The more expensive products are as always made each here in Germany. WMF thus produces only its premium product lines in Germany, including "Gourmet Plus" definitely and inevitably belongs. Whoever says otherwise has not got a clue (I read in a review on this series of "junk made in China" - that is utter nonsense). Otherwise, this applies only to the Series "Premium One", "Concento", "Function 4" and "Trend" to. The Premium Membership also means that there are nachzukaufen all available variants of pots, pans and inserts for "Gourmet Plus" series, so you can expand its set without any design or quality differences.

In their sum were the observations listed previously (test results, WMF Premium line, Made in Germany and unlimited expandability) for me decisive purchase criteria. In addition, the matte surface gave (easy to clean as polished), the design (timeless, valuable, beautiful) and relatively cold lasting hollow handles on pot and cover the rash purchase. Pouring rim and interior scaling are in my view in this price segment duty. Pots with glass lid (originally for my wife and me times an exclusion criterion when pot purchase) are, however, cross-vendor sown so rare that this is the buying decision in no way influenced (glass lid from another WMF pot lines can also be purchased separately) in this class.

Due to my very high opinion of the brand WMF (at least when it comes to the premium products) I had very high expectations, which were not disappointed. Visually convincing the pots in the real world by a timeless beauty and high quality designed matt stainless steel finish. The branded WMF logo, enthroned above five stars, making the great visual impression perfect. The overall feel is this in every way - the pots are just really good and tired in his hand. It is a heavy duty, both in terms of the pot, as well as the lid, whereby the very high-quality optical impression is reinforced.

Cooking's particularly good because you realize that true value is on the stove. The pots are quickly hot (for steel), the last heat and distribute it mainly uniformly. In addition, Henkel will actually not hot (at ceramic hob) and the pots are easy to care for if you follow the care instructions (machine is not a problem). I must say that the practice test is not discussed in greater detail at this point, because the pots do beyond what they are: cooking. However, they actually do noticeably better and faster than effective sets that used the author previously. Including, there are also the great feeling when cooking, not only by name but also by the performance of German workmanship is on the stove. I'm just very happy with the pots and I find it even after prolonged thought anything bad about this a cookware set or "Gourmet Plus" product.

Positive summary (there is nothing to complain about):

PS: One last note still the very end: I ask the people who have problems with discolouration, the care instructions read times (which is not so supplied without reason) shortly. Here you can not only find out how the discoloration can be removed again, but fortunately also how other handling errors that must inevitably result in damage to the pots avoids. For the experts who create it, stainless steel (!!!) to bring in a short time to rust, unfortunately I have no tip - except perhaps to apply once the Super Talent. ;) If it is not a misidentification (dried leftovers, rust, stainless steel discoloration etc. should act), can only be something went in my view, in these pots really wrong.
