Much more interesting for me is the volume: The fan is obviously even without special stress on the graphics card already properly in operation. The under the table small tower case produces the card now a clearly audible "computer is on" sound. For comparison: Without graphics card (with onboard graphics) you had to stick your head under the table in order to perceive the computer is idle. I find the volume so but ok. Even soft music enough to drown out the - and a fortiori any computer game. In particular, the map in my play was not loud, even under load. Since I have yet somehow related to other graphics cards real hurricanes.
As with mainstream usual installation runs smoothly. In my case, in Windows 8: plug in card, reboot, turn higher screen resolution again, download the latest driver from the AMD website and install at your fingertips, ready.
The card occupies the space of two slots, but this seems to be normal now in its performance class, and at least in my case is not a problem.
