The encoding hardware works fine on skype 4.3.x on Ubuntu 14.10 64bit.
On an i5-4250U skype Seems To take only 15-20% of cpu from the first tests.
Using google hangouts on the hand is still usable --other purpose there are two processes Taking 40-50% of Each Core (h264-> V8 outcome?).

As others-have Said, pity hangouts That Does not use h264 when available, and pity That Does not Clearly certify Logitech webcam as this Linux-compatible Somehow without people having the need to look all over the net afraid of buying a brick.
