I have not tried with the SD Card 32GB original (yes, this exists in 32 GB) but with 8GB originally supplied with my mobile phone (Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro) and playback is flawless. I guess it must be the same for the 32GB card ...
For cons, the capital importance of precision, it is natural that the card is formatted to FAT32 and not NTFS.
Because actually, few radios support this partition format.
But since the arrival of high capacity flash memory (8 GB and more), we often have to format the NTFS (or other format that supports more than 4GB files), to forget that good many devices do not know to read!
Going back to the key itself, it's really a great product.
- Innovative design at first (it took me several comparative photos before and to understand that it was a microscopic card reader!)
- The card is easy to change (small yellow button) and does not interfere in the insertion process (perfectly integrated USB connector, hallucinating)
- The transfer speed is honorable (respect of the class, or debit announced on map)
- It is provided with a cap (although a strap would have been welcome)
- Rare or unique on a key of this size there is a LED indicating the transfer read / write.
A small downside, however, on this last point (LED) through use on a car radio.
LED, blue is VERY light and the radio, USB mode, accessed constantly. Result, the LED flashes every second continuously.
If you often driving at night and your car radio or USB port is located near your face (in the center of the dashboard, above), this one will not cease to amaze you!
Attention to this point, so; For my part, I had to tape a small piece of black cardboard on top of the key to fully mitigate the impact of the LED on my eyes.
It is also visible on the sides of the key, I can always see it working on the computer.
This last point does nothing to tarnish the overall grade of the product, which remains an excellent deal (26 for 32 GB in September 2012).
And you better have an LED that can overshadow necessary, that no LED at all!
In short, if you plan to use this key with a car radio: DARK is its most appropriate use!
At worst, if it goes really * not * to your car radio (once formatted in FAT32, I highly doubt), it will make a great microSD card reader, always at hand (or fingers ...)
