The product I tested Ubuntu 8.10, openSUSE, Windows Vista and Windows 7 beta. The device under Ubuntu, openSUSE, and Vista was immediately recognized. In Windows 7 beta I had to install Vista and the WLAN USB stick immediately performed his service the supplied drivers for Windows. The transmission quality is at a distance betw. Router (Fritz box) and WLAN USB Stick from about 8m (narrow wall) as well classified to very good. Under Ubuntu the connection quality was given as 69%, the transmission rate was, however, with some cases up to 700 kb / s consistently very good. Even after several hours of operation, the drive does not particularly warm, nor the transmission rate deteriorated markedly. Therefore, I would recommend this product in its entirety.
